I am currently an assistant professor at the Department of Statistics, the University of Chicago.
I received my Ph.D. in statistics from Stanford in 2016 (adviser: Art B. Owen) and B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Peking University in 2011. I was a postdoc researcher with Nancy R. Zhang at Wharton Statistics Department from 2016-2019. My main research interest is in developing statistical methods for cutting-edge bio-technologies and genetic problems. I currently work on problems in single-cell RNA sequencing, Mendelian Randomization and structural variation in the 3D genome. My research also includes factor models and multiple hypotheses testing, and their applications in statistical genetics. |
